At thepetsfood.in, we strive to deliver only the best-quality pet products to your doorstep. While we do not accept general returns or exchanges due to the nature of our products, we do support our customers in the case of defective, damaged, or expired items.

Return & Exchange Policy – Defective, Damaged, or Expired Items Only

Returns or exchanges are only accepted under the following circumstances:

  • The product is defective or not functioning as intended.
  • The product is damaged in transit.
  • The product is expired at the time of delivery.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, please ensure the following:

  • For defective items, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.
  • For damaged or expired items, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • You must provide clear photo(s) or video(s) as proof of the issue.
  • A copy of your invoice or order confirmation must be included.
  • The product must be unopened and returned in its original packaging.

Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

Due to health, hygiene, and safety standards, the following products cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Opened or partially used pet food and treats.
  • Items reported after the applicable return window (7 days for defective, 48 hours for damaged/expired).
  • Products that have been tampered with or used.

Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your order before it is shipped by emailing [email protected].
  • Orders that are already shipped cannot be canceled.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock issues, incorrect pricing, or other concerns. You will be notified via email or phone.

Refund Policy

  • Once your return is inspected and approved, a refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original method of payment.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the issue is caused by our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).
  • If your refund is delayed, please contact your bank or card provider before reaching out to us.
